00 / RESEARCH AGENT
NEWAI customer research in the words buyers use.
The research agent writes an interview guide from your brief, reads the transcripts you bring, and returns themes, quotes, and objections. You approve before any of that rewrites the brief the other agents read.

THE PROBLEM
The brief is a guess until a buyer says it.
Most go-to-market copy is written from a form. Someone types who the buyer is, what the product does, and why it is different. The agents then spend real money saying those words in creator briefs, search pages, outbound emails, and sales calls.
Buyers rarely use that wording. They describe the job in their own phrases, name objections the deck skipped, and compare you to a competitor you did not list. A survey score will not surface that. A short interview will.
The research agent turns those conversations into the brief. Recruiting and live interviews can be run with our team. The study you run yourself starts from transcripts you already have, including website conversations and calls your agents recorded.
HOW IT WORKS
How the research agent works
- 01
Write the guide
The agent drafts an interview guide from your brief: who to talk to, what to ask, and why each question matters. You can run a study with that guide alone, before any transcript exists.
- 02
Bring the conversations
Paste transcripts from calls, interviews, or open-ended survey answers. When you want new participants, our team recruits people who match your buyers and runs the live interviews. You approve the screener and the guide first.
- 03
Read what they said
The agent returns themes, verbatim quotes, and objections, plus short feeds for the GTM agents: a creator angle, buyer prompts, page topics, outbound openers, and qualification questions for the website and inbound agents.
- 04
Approve the brief
Suggested edits to product, buyers, differentiators, facts, and competitors sit in a draft. Nothing reaches the other agents until you approve it. Countries, language, and website stay as they are.
BY THE NUMBERS
Why interviews change the brief
Modeled examples, not customer data. Your baseline will differ, and we can size it with your own numbers in a demo.

WHAT YOU GET
What a study returns
Interview guide
Questions written from your current brief, each with a reason, so a person or a later live interview covers the same ground.
Themes and quotes
The patterns across transcripts, with quotes taken from what people said. The agent does not invent participants or lines.
Objections
The pushback buyers actually raised, paired with a response that stays inside the facts already in your brief.
Brief edits you approve
A draft of product, buyers, differentiators, facts, and competitors. Approving writes it onto the shared brief. Leaving it as a draft changes nothing.
A feed for each agent
Creator angle, buyer prompts for GEO, page topics for SEO, outbound openers, and qualification questions for the website and inbound agents. Each feed is short enough to use on the next run.
Recruitment and live interviews
Finding participants, incentives, consent, and live AI interviews are run with our team. You approve the screener and the guide before anyone is contacted.
BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET
Customer research by niche
Dev Tools
Engineers describe the workaround, not the category. Interviews surface the error, the integration, and the phrase that belongs on the docs page.
B2B SaaS
Operators buy for a team. The useful interview is about the last time the problem showed up, who else had to agree, and what almost killed the deal.
FinTech
Claims have to stay accurate. Interviews are used to learn objections and wording, and every fact in the brief still has to match what you can defend.
D2C & Shopify
Shoppers talk in occasions, not personas. For a D2C brand or a Shopify store, a handful of interviews with recent buyers often explains a creative angle or a product page that a satisfaction score never will.
THE ENGINE
One of seven agents. Built to work together.
Research sits above the funnel. It writes the brief that influencer, GEO, SEO, and outbound read, and the conversations the website and inbound agents record come back as the next study. You approve every change to the brief before the other agents use it.

What does the research agent do?
It writes an interview guide from your brief, reads transcripts you upload, and returns themes, quotes, objections, suggested brief edits, and a short message feed for each GTM agent. You approve the brief before anything else changes.
How much does the research agent cost?
It is included with every plan, because every other agent reads the brief it keeps. Recruiting new interview participants, including their incentives, is quoted per study.
Can it run the interviews for me?
Recruiting participants and running live AI interviews are handled by our team. You approve the screener and the guide first. The study you start in the app reads transcripts you already have, including notes from calls.
Will it replace the brief I wrote?
Only the fields you approve. The draft can update product, buyers, differentiators, facts, and competitors. Website, countries, and language stay as they are. If you leave the draft unapproved, the brief is unchanged.
Where do the quotes come from?
From the transcripts you provide. The agent is instructed to quote those transcripts and to leave out any theme they do not support. It does not invent interviewees.
How do the other agents use a study?
After you approve the brief, the next creator search, GEO scan, SEO audit, and outbound sequence reads the updated wording. Each study also leaves a feed: creator angle, buyer prompts, page topics, outbound openers, and qualification questions.
How is this different from Listen Labs?
Listen Labs stops at slides, reels, and a research library. The interview never reaches the campaigns. The Pipeline Simple research agent writes the brief from your transcripts and a feed for every GTM agent, and nothing ships until you approve it. The full pitch is on the Listen Labs comparison page.
