02 / GEO AGENT

Generative engine optimization that gets you recommended.

Buyers ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and other AI assistants which tools to shortlist and which products to buy. The GEO agent asks those questions on eight engines every week, several times each, shows where you stand with honest ranges, and fixes what the answers get wrong at the source, so more answers name you, describe you accurately, and recommend you.

THE PROBLEM

The shortlist is being written by AI.

A growing share of buyers skip the results page entirely. They ask an AI assistant for the best payout API, a good running shoe under $150, or alternatives to a competitor, and they act on the three or four names in the answer.

Those answers are not random. Engines assemble them from comparison pages, reviews, documentation, retailer listings, community threads, and how consistently your brand is described across the web. When those signals are thin or contradictory, you are left out, or described with last year's pricing and a lookalike company's facts.

The same question can also get a different answer on the next ask, so one screenshot proves little. You need repeated asks, honest ranges, and a way to tell a real move from noise.

Traditional SEO tools do not show you any of this. The GEO agent measures it directly, prompt by prompt and engine by engine, traces each wrong answer to the pages behind it, and works on the sources that change the answer.

HOW IT WORKS

How the GEO agent works

  1. 01

    Build the prompt set

The agent drafts the questions your buyers ask, from category searches to competitor comparisons, using your brief and the research agent's interviews. You edit and approve them, and only approved prompts are asked.

  2. 02

    Sample every engine

Each prompt is asked several times on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Copilot (through Bing), and Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, in each country and language you sell in. Every answer is checked for mentions, position, sentiment, sources, and accuracy.

  3. 03

    Trace and fix

Wrong or outdated claims are traced to the pages engines learned them from. The agent drafts the fix, starting with your own pages and profiles, then short, sourced correction requests to publishers. You approve and send each one.

  4. 04

    Verify and report

Fixes are rechecked on the engines that made the claim until two clean checks verify them. Alerts flag moves beyond the usual swing, and a PDF report lands every Tuesday.

WHAT YOU GET

The GEO toolkit

01

Prompt builder

Describe your buyers in plain English, such as "CFOs choosing a payout API" or "new parents shopping for a stroller", and the agent drafts the prompts they ask AI from your brief and research. You edit, tag, and approve the set.

02

Eight engines, every market

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Copilot (through Bing), Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode, by country and language, with the model version behind every answer recorded.

03

Ranges, not screenshots

Every prompt is asked several times, so mention rate, position, and share of voice come with likely ranges, and you can tell a real move from noise.

04

Competitor benchmarking

Share of voice by engine and prompt, the brands named instead of you, and the sources the engines cited when they were.

05

Change alerts

Email alerts when visibility moves beyond the usual swing, and a flag when an engine updates its model and many prompts shift at once.

06

Accuracy against your facts

Keep a facts file of prices, shipping and returns, hours, locations, and compliance claims. Answers are checked against it for wrong, outdated, or lookalike-company facts, and the exact quote is saved.

07

Source tracing

Each wrong claim is traced to the pages engines cite and the search results behind them, so the fix starts where the claim comes from.

08

Fixes you approve

Exact before-and-after text for your pages, updates for the profiles you control, and short, sourced correction requests to publishers. Nothing goes out until you approve it, and you send it from your own mailbox.

09

Quotable pages and structured data

Answer-first page drafts, a facts page engines can quote, and structured data built straight from your approved facts.

10

Fix verification

The agent re-asks the prompts behind each fix until two clean checks verify it, and reopens the fix with an alert if the claim comes back.

11

Crawler and page checks

Robots rules for 38 AI bots, noindex and snippet limits, and JavaScript-only text, plus a weekly watch for cited pages that change, move, or get blocked.

12

Honest reviews

Review requests to every consenting customer, not only the happy ones, on the platforms that allow them, with any incentive disclosed where the platform permits one.

13

Community answers

Finds the forum and Q&A threads engines cite for your prompts and drafts helpful replies that say who you are. You post them yourself.

14

AI lead attribution

A light tracking snippet and a signed webhook tag visits and leads from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and seven other assistants, with a CSV export for HubSpot or Salesforce.

15

Weekly report and controls

A dashboard and a PDF report every Tuesday, plus spend per engine, budget caps, approval rules, and raw answers you can delete at any time.

BUILT FOR YOUR MARKET

GEO by niche

Dev Tools

Developers ask AI for tool recommendations constantly. The agent finds the docs, forum threads, and repositories engines cite, and checks that your SDKs, limits, and integrations are described correctly.

B2B SaaS

Category and alternatives prompts shape shortlists before a buyer visits your site. The agent benchmarks you against competitors on every engine and catches positioning that has drifted from how you sell.

FinTech

Accuracy matters more than volume. The agent checks pricing, coverage, and compliance claims against your facts file and traces outdated ones to the pages that keep repeating them.

D2C & Shopify

Shoppers ask AI for the best product in a price range, or what to buy for a need. For a D2C brand or a Shopify store, reviews, marketplace and retailer listings, and creator content feed those answers, so the agent tracks all three, checks that prices, shipping, and returns are described correctly, and asks every consenting customer for an honest review.

THE ENGINE

One of seven agents. Built to work together.

GEO compounds with the rest of the engine. Creator mentions and SEO pages become sources AI engines cite, and the prompts start from questions the research agent heard buyers ask. When a buyer arrives from an AI answer, the tracking snippet and the website and inbound agents tag the lead with the assistant that sent it, so you can watch GEO turn into pipeline.

FAQ

GEO questions, answered.

What is generative engine optimization?

Generative engine optimization, or GEO, is the practice of improving how often and how accurately AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, and Google AI Overviews mention, cite, and recommend your brand.

How much does generative engine optimization cost?

The GEO agent starts at $3,500 a month, including weekly prompt retests, citation mapping, placement outreach, and accuracy fixes. Any sponsored placements you approve are billed at cost.

How is GEO different from SEO?

SEO earns rankings on a results page. GEO earns a place inside the answer itself. They share foundations like quality content and authority, but GEO also depends on third-party comparisons, consistent company facts, and the specific sources each engine cites.

Does GEO work for D2C brands and Shopify stores?

Yes. Shoppers ask AI assistants what to buy, such as the best stroller for city walks or a gift under $50, and the answers name brands and stores. The agent drafts those shopping prompts from your brief, shows which brands each engine names instead of you, and lists the pages behind each answer, from reviews and marketplace listings to creator videos. It also checks your prices, shipping, and returns against your facts file.

Which AI engines does it track?

ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, Google AI Overviews, and Google AI Mode, plus Microsoft Copilot. Copilot has no public API, so it is measured with Microsoft's official Grounding with Bing Search, which comes close to what Copilot says but is not the same, and every report labels it "Copilot (Bing proxy)". Answers come from each engine's API or a search data provider, so they can differ a little from what a signed-in user sees. You choose the engines, countries, and languages.

How are GEO results measured?

Each approved prompt is asked several times on every engine you track, because the same question can get a different answer on the next ask. You see mention rate, position, share of voice, sentiment, cited sources, and accuracy, each with a likely range, plus the visits and leads AI assistants send you.

Can you guarantee the top spot in ChatGPT?

No. No one can honestly promise what an AI engine will say. You get likely ranges for every number, and alerts only when a move is real, so you always know where you stand on each prompt and engine.

What happens when an AI engine gets a fact wrong?

The agent saves the exact quote, checks it against your facts file, and confirms it with a second pass. It then traces the claim to the pages engines read and drafts the fix: new wording for your own pages, updates for profiles you control, or a short, sourced correction request to a publisher. Once you send it, the agent rechecks the engines until two clean checks verify the fix.

Does the agent post, send, or pay for anything on its own?

No. The agent drafts, and a person on your team approves. Correction requests, review requests, and community replies go out from your own accounts, and every reply says who is posting. Contact limits keep any one publisher from hearing from you too often.

Can I buy placements on the sites AI engines cite?

Yes, as one part of the program, with our specialists handling the outreach. Earned coverage comes first. Where that is slow, clearly labeled sponsored placements are bought on the publishers engines cite for your prompts, within a budget you approve. Engines cite individual pages, so a paid post may never be cited, which is why every placement is judged by the weekly retest.

Do you use hidden text or other tricks to game AI answers?

No. The agent never uses hidden text, cloaking, or instructions aimed at AI engines, and it never writes fake reviews or posts as anyone else. Every fix is a real change a reader would see, and drafts are checked for these tricks before you see them.

How long does GEO take to work?

It depends on the engine. Engines that search the web live can reflect new sources within weeks, while answers based on training data change more slowly. Weekly reporting shows which engines are moving.

Do you store the AI answers?

Only what the reports need. Raw answers are kept for 30 to 365 days, as you choose, and you can delete them at any time; the scores, sources, and quotes behind issues stay. The agent fetches pages as PipelineSimpleBot, which identifies itself and follows robots.txt and site terms.
